Backstage

In general, a LAUTI instance can be viewed by everyone without any restrictions. But for modifying actions like creating, editing or deleting events, groups or places a user account is needed.

The backstage area#

All actions modifying something on a LAUTI instance, can only be performed from the so called backstage. It can only be accessed with an user account. These accounts only work on the instance they were created on.

You can visit the backstage by clicking the link in the navigation(on desktop you need to hover the about page) or by visting the /backstage URL of your instance. When your are logged in you will see the dashboard. If you are not logged in yet you have to enter your user credentials and you will be redirected to the dashboard.

Dashboard#

This is the start page when you enter the backstage by logging in. On the left you can see general information about the instance and notifications. On the right side you can see the sidebar, which is used for navigating the backstage.

When you are new to the instance, it is recommended to read the usage principles and FAQ. When you need to get started visit the first steps page from the sidebar.

Sidebar#

This is the main navigation element in the backstage.

Overview

In this list you find information about your instance and how to do your first steps.

Events

In this list you can find actions related to events. Click on events to get to the overview of your events.

Repeating Events

In this list you can find actions related to repeating events. Click on repeating events to get to the overview of your repeating events.

Groups

In this list you can find actions related to groups. Click on groups to get to the overview of groups you have created or are part of it.

Places

In this list you can find actions related to places. Click on places to get to the overview of places you have created or are part of it.

Notifications

When you click on notifications you will visit a page with a list of your personal notifications.

Invite users

When you click on invite users you will visit a page where you can create and manage your user invitations.

My account

When you click on my account you will visit a page where you can delete your account or change your username, password and email.
