Repeating events

Repeating events is the place to create and manage your recurring events.

Creating repeating events#

Navigate to /backstage/repeatingevents/new or click on Create repeating events in the sidebar. The creation of repeating events is a three step process.

1. Creating the repeating event

   Enter the content of your event. This form is close to page you know from events with the difference you can enter an interval.

   The interval can be daily, weekly or monthly. After selecting that the every option will be visible. For example when selecting a daily interval the options for every are second, third, forth, fith and sixth. When selecting an interval of weekly or monthly there are also options for selecting a weekday. With this option it is possible to build intervals like every third monday of a month or every second week on a wednesday.

   When you are done adding content click on save.

   

2. Generating events

   The repeating event has been successfully created. The next step is to create individual events for the selected period.

   For this example our repeating event will take place on every second week on a monday. We will select a interval of 2 months to generate the events of the repeating event and click generate.

   

3. Check or edit generated events

   The individual events have been successfully generated. Next, individual events can be edited or deleted.

   The generated events are displayed on the Edit page of the regular event and is part of the event list.
