Please be aware that this guide for visitors only applies to the default theme shipped with LAUTI or custom themes only modified for optics. Instance Administrators have the possibility to create themes with completely different user experience and workflows. In such cases please contact your instance administrator for guidance.
Information for a group or place
Each group and place has a dedicated page on a instance. It contains a number of information fields, most of them optional. Only the following information is mandatory for a group or place:
- name of the group or place
- address of the place (only for places)
Furthermore, the creator has the possibility to add more information
- link to website
- email address
- description of the group or place
- one image
- pin on a map in case coordinates were provided (only for place)
Subscribing to groups or places
The page for groups and places also contains a Add to calendar button, which will provide all upcoming events for this group or place in iCal format. Additionally, an RSS feed is provided. More information regarding feeds can be found
here
Preview of further events of a group or place
To give some more information for the group or place, the page includes the upcoming and past events of the group and place.
